This weekend, from the 4th to the 8th October, Florence will be in the limelight for the world premiere of Inferno the movie directed by Ron Howard and adaptation of Dan Brown’s novel. After the success of Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons, Tom Hanks returns as the famous symbologist Robert Langdon to the big screen to investigate the mysteries of Dante’s Divine Comedy across the streets of the city and along the secret Vasari Corridor.

The first performance of third chapter of this best-selling trilogy  will “burn” the Capital of the Italian Renaissance with unmissable (only for the lucky few) events in the most iconic places of Florence.

The program of the events for Inferno the movie world premiere

The official trailer

The highlight of the event is Saturday 8th October. The Teatro dell’Opera opens its door for the first time to “Hollywood” with the premiere of Inferno, where only two thousand fortunates (on invitation only) will be admitted. Fans will have the opportunity to see the artists walking the red carpet. While to admire the Professor Langdon and Sienna Brooks, they have to wait the 13th October when Inferno the movie will be released at the cinema.

After the performance, the event goes on at the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo with the exclusive dinner where seems that Ribollita will be served to the Guests on explicit request of the Director Ron Howard.

If you are in Florence during these days, then, keep your eyes open looking for the actors and don’t be surprised to walk side by side with Tom Hanks.
