Lunigiana is an historical region between the border of Northern Tuscany, Liguria and Emilia Romagna, in Italy.

Lunigiana is composed by many small Tuscan villages, such as Fosdinovo, considered one of the most important small towns of Lunigiana. If you visit Lunigiana you must try some typical local food such as Testaroli, Chickpea flatbread and Sgabei .

Lunigiana is crossed by the famous Via Francigena, a medieval root connecting Canterbury to Rome. Here in Lunigiana there are several tracks of Via Francigena where you can admire the surroundings.

Reaching Lunigiana is pretty easy by car, because it is crossed by an important highway A15, connecting the North to the coastal area of Tuscany.
